Living in a box! "Spy" Super Junior Recap/Review

      I really really really really like this song and video. It's just fun point blank, and that is one of the things I really like about Kpop. I love that it's fun, light, and doesn't always take itself so seriously. Which is something that is needed with music.
     Now as almost all groups, Super Junior has been locked into the SMent room, and told to make a video. Well ok maybe not that dramatic. They didn't have a gun pointed to their head, and then forced to danced in a little room. Yes they are in the room, as all sment artist are. I know a lot of people have issues with this little room. I don't really mind it, because I got a feeling someone who is in charge of creative really likes the idea of having them do old Hollywood productions. So they really enjoy using a sound stage.

            OMG how awesome was the dancing in this video. I can't stress this enough. I really enjoy watching a well put together dance routine, and this video delivers. Costumes, and dancing. Sigh. So awesome. I kind of knew they were gonna have the James Bond shadow women in the video when I first heard it, because that is kind of a given if you are doing a campy fun spy video. Now Here is what I wish they would have done. Even though I don't mind the little box. I wish they would have done some scenes with them doing like spy stuff. Or maybe gave them a little plot line, that had them working a case.
          That would have been really cute and fun also. I think they may do the little room because it is easy, but it wouldn't be that hard to decorate for different scenes and still use that little room. Just wished there was a bit of a plot story line. See when I hear a song like this, I get into Musical mode. Then I want to see a full out fun production because i'm in that mode. They  have the hair, and dancers. Let's get creative now, with the videos and make production numbers. This is gonna be totally random, but a Kpop artist that does the musical numbers. With Stage musical plots for me is I.U., and good day is one of the best examples of this.
          
This video is sooo super cute, and fun. It reminds me of Broadway musicals. Just the way the whole video goes up and down, and the dancing parts. It seems like it can be put into a full story, and this is one of the musical brakes. Plus her voice is magic.

        So basically to sum it up. I really liked the Super Junior's "Spy". I don't mind the little room. The dance parts are so AMAZING. Love the James Bond dancing ladies. The song and video is awesome, but I do wish they would have played up the video a little. Added a bit of a story, even if it was campy. Something that would have really made it pop, but even without that. It's still a good video.
